OVERVIEW
The II Anti-Corruption International Congress, under the theme "Shaping an anti-corruption environment: education and partnerships to create a positive impact", will take place on 27 April 2026.
In a global context marked by persistent challenges to institutional integrity and public trust, this congress aims to establish itself as a platform for critical reflection, interdisciplinary dialogue, and the sharing of best practices in the field of anti-corruption. Promoting an effective anti-corruption environment requires a multilateral and multidisciplinary approach, capable of integrating legal, political, economic, and social perspectives.
Education — particularly in the fields of Law and Political Science — plays a structural role in this process, serving as a key instrument for empowerment, awareness, and transformation. By fostering critical thinking and ethical commitment, it contributes decisively to the construction of more just, transparent, and inclusive societies.
The academic environment thus emerges as a privileged space for deepening the understanding of the issues that undermine human rights, the rule of law, and democracy. Corruption, as a complex and cross-cutting phenomenon, demands an integrated analysis of its causes, impacts, and dynamics, as well as the development of sustained prevention strategies.
In this context, the congress promotes an open and pluralistic approach, oriented towards global citizenship and grounded in universal values, while reinforcing institutional partnerships aimed at creating a positive and lasting impact.
